There are no refunds for shipping on delayed packages cause by events beyond the control of FEDEX, such as weather delays. For a full list of exclusions, please read FEDEX's policy online here

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. For example, if your item is delayed due to inclement weather or a transportation delay, we are not responsible and are not liable to issue a refund. Once we hand the package off to the carrier, it is beyond our control. 

The same applies to packages that are marked delivered or signed for, but customer claims are not delivered.

Graduation Outlet is not responsible for replacing the package.

Shipping definitions:

USPS Flat Rate Shipping: No tracking or information on transit time available

USPS First Class: 5-10 business days**

USPS Ground Advantage: 2-16 business days based on location**

USPS Priority: 3-7 business days**

GROUND: 1-7 business days based on location***

3-Day Select: 3 business days after the order ships 

2-Day Air: 2 business days after the order ships

Next Day Air: Next business day by 1pm after the order ships

Next Day Air Early AM: Next business day by 10:30am after the order ships

Weekends are not business days. No shipments go out from our facilities and FedEx does not count them when counting delivery days. The day we ship the order does not count as day 1. The first day begins the day after we ship.

Processing Time:

Saturday and Sunday are NOT normal delivery days. They do not count as part of the transit time.
If any item (s) are out of stock, we will inform you of the situation and let you know your options in terms of later delivery or alternative products.

We will ask whether you would like to proceed with your order or make changes to your order.

No substitutions of items will be made without your prior consent.

Clearance and Sale items are based on availability. If an order is placed for a clearance item and the item is out of stock, we will contact you to ask if you want the quantity left or if you want to cancel. We are not obligated to fill an order at the clearance price for alternatives.

Delivery policy:

Shipping time is not the same as total delivery time. Shipping time refers strictly to the time it takes the carrier to deliver the package to its destination.

Choosing next day air does not mean your order will be delivered the day after you place your order online. It depends on availability of the product and if the order is placed Monday-Friday before 1pm.

Orders placed on Friday after business hours go out the following week. 

All shipping methods are automatically non signature required. If you require a signature, you must call us and pay for the additional fee for signature required.

Same day shipping is for next day, 2nd day and 3rd day shipment orders and must be placed no later than 1pm eastern time Monday-Friday.

When you enter a delivery date, if we cannot meet your timeline, we will contact you immediately. If we need to rush an order, additional charges will apply.

Returns /Refusals / Address Corrections:

If you refuse an order, Graduation Outlet reserves the right to charge additional handling and shipping charges on the refused order.

Make sure you provide complete addresses including any apartment, suite, office or box numbers. Any additional charges applied by the carried to correct the address you have given will be billed to you and will result in a delay of your shipment.  .

There is a $25 fee for changes or updates to addresses AFTER the orders have shipped

Once an order is shipped out of facilities, we have no control over it. We cannot intercept the package to make any changes.

You must return the package after receiving it at your own cost if you do not want it. It must be returned to us unopened and unworn and within 5 days of receipt. 

International Shipping:

Shipments going out of the USA are all subject to customs charges regardless of shipping method selected. These fees are between the receiver and the carrier and are not a part of the shipping fees you pay to Graduation Outlet at the time your order is placed. We do not have any foresight into what these fees will be.

Shipments going out of the USA via UPS/Fed EX are subject to Brokerage Charges and Customs Charges. These fees are between the receiver and the carrier and are not a part of the shipping fees you pay to Graduation Outlet at the time your order is placed. We do not have any foresight into what these fees will be.

Replacements or Missing / Wrong Items Shipped:

If we made a mistake and shipped you the wrong items or damaged items, we will happily replace the items in a timely manner.

All missing, damaged or wrong items must be reported within 5 days of receiving the shipment. It is the customer's responsibility to check the shipment in a timely manner.

We will send out the replacements to ensure they arrive on time for your event as long as you notify us within 5 days of receiving the order.

We cannot be responsible for a shipment that has been with the customer for due to damages and theft that occur at your own location, which is why this time limit has been set.

There are no returns or exchanges on merchandise taken out of its original packaging. All returned merchandise must be in the new original condition with unopened packages and original packing materials. All of our products are packed in see-through clear bags. There no exceptions for opened / worn merchandise.

Graduation gown measurements are very exact so please measure carefully and as per our instructions because do not take back any returns on them. You cannot order to try on. Graduation Outlet is not responsible for size errors on the part of the person placing the order, normal return fees and conditions will apply.

Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 5 days of receipt of an order. 

Requests for returns must be made within 5 days from date of delivery to shipping address given. 

Merchandise cannot be returned to Graduation Outlet without prior authorization. All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which is obtained by contacting a Graduation Outlet representative.  The RMA number must be clearly visible on the OUTER SHIPPING BOX, or the shipment will be refused. 

Returns must be sent freight prepaid and will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

In-store pick up orders that are canceled or not picked up will also incur a 20% restocking fee.

Graduation Outlet will not pay for shipping of returns. Shipping and handling charges on the original order are non-refundable. 

Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment.

Item(s) must be received within 7 business days of the date issued of your RMA number. A delay will result in complete forfeiture of your return.   

No more than 10% of your order can be returned. Your new pricing will be adjusted to the approriate tier.

Actual merchandise may not look EXACTLY like the color on any computer screen. Graduation Outlet is not responsible for mismatch of color between what is online and actual merchandise. Every computer monitor has its own settings and the color we are seeing on our screen can be different from what you see on your screen. 

Graduation Outlet cannot match its color to other vendors. Every vendor has different materials and dye lots.

All cancelations will be charged a cancelation fee. This is to cover the cost charged by financial institution of authorizing and canceling credit card and Paypal fees. This fee is non-negotiable. The fee is 4% for Paypal orders and 8% for orders paid for with a credit card.

Final sale items are not returnable or exchangeable under any circumstance. 

Custom made products require pre-payment to begin production. Custom made products are final sale. There are no refunds or exchanges for anything that was customized to your needs. 

Please allow 6-8 days for your return to be processed Under no circumstance is our liability more than the purchase price of the merchandise itself.

Please include the following information when returning an item:

1. Your RMA number written on the outside of the box.
2. A copy of your original invoice if available with the RMA number (inside of box).
3. A note with all of your contact information stating if you would like a return for credit or replacement.
